The SoftStep MIDI Expander by Keith McMillen is an optional expansion for the SoftStep, Softstep 2, QuNeo, QuNexus and 12 Step. You can use this MIDI controller without a computer, but also use your computer to control real life instruments.

Applications of the SoftStep MIDI Expander

With this expansion, you can control your hardware synthesizers with the SoftStep. Simply connect your hardware via the MIDI in and out. With the SoftStep software, you can program parameters.
