General
The Studio Electronics Boomstar Modular Filter SEM is a voltage-controlled State Variable Filter with 12 dB/oct slope. The nickname of this Eurorack filter is also Pendulum Chaos Generator, because you can run this filter well 'off the rails' and create quite a few distorted and unique sounds. If this filter does one thing well, it's challenge you to apply out-of-the-box thinking.
