General

Following in the footsteps of the Orion32, Antelope's new Orion32+ goes even further. It's the world's first AD/DA converter that can deliver 32 analogue channels via DB25, and process 32 tracks in 24-bit audio quality at 192 kHz via Thunderbolt and USB at the same time. Besides that, this converter can handle 64 tracks via MADI in 48 kHz! It also features ADAT functionality and S/PDIF inputs and outputs, and a couple of top-notch sero-latency monitor outputs via a TRS jack connector.

Orion32+: Seamless Integration with DAWs

The Orion32+ is designed to guarantee seamless integration and connectivity with DAW applications. This is made possible by the simultaneous streaming of 32 channels in 24 bits and 192 kHz audio. The analogue inputs and outputs are facilitated by eight D-Sub 25 connectors and a couple of TRS monitor connectors.

Efficient

When used in combination with a Mac or MacBook Pro, this unit runs so efficiently that the computer's cooling fan rotates as slowly as possible, keeping disruptive ambient noise to an absolute minimum. Antelope has also added a hardware-driven reverb called AuroVerb which runs via the internal DSP and offers an improved dynamic range. The Orion32+ has everything any modern studio needs!

Wat een top apparaat! Super snelle latency. Gebruik m voor een hybride setup en stuur m 2 keer mn computer door, door de lage latency is dit niet te horen! Kom niet boven de 3 seconden rtl uit met ableton. Handig zijn de plugins die rekenkracht van de orion gebruiken zodat je computer verder niet belast wordt. Handig! Converters zijn super clean, wat je hear is what you get.

Super converter! Mooi detail in de transienten en reverb tails. Flexibele routing. Ik ben niet weg van de interne reverb, maar door de lage latency over thunderbolt kan ik gewoon een native reverb plugin gebruiken. Let erop dat de thunderbolt alleen betrouwbaar werkt met Apple's eigen thunderbolt kabels, niet met B-merken!
