The many connection options of the Presonus Quantum 2
On the rear of this audio interface, you'll find an adapter connection, MIDI IN and OUT, both in classic DIN format. It also features ADAT, Thunderbolt of course, S/PIF and Wordclock. There are two XLR/jack inputs for a mic or line signal as well as four line outputs.
Great potential
At the end of the day, this is a 22x24 interface with an extremely low latency. Record directly in your DAW, not via a DSP chip. What's more, you can stack four Quantum interfaces (via Thunderbolt) to make one enormous system. Even though Thunderbolt is originally an Apple invention, it's also available for PC (Windows operating systems) as Thunderbolt 1 and/or Thunderbolt 2 connectors. If you're a PC-user, make sure your computer has this option before investing in this product!
