General
The Quantum 4848 is an audio interface designed to be an extension of your current analogue patch bay. Connect it to the DB25 I/O on the Quantum 4848 and you'll have 32 input and output channels with a maximum sample rate of 192 kHz to work with. That means you can easily route signals from your analogue gear through the Quantum and into your DAW and in addition, you add up to 48 channels via ADAT by connecting two DigiMax DP88 preamps. It's even possible to connect four Quantum 4848s together giving you 192 x 192 channels or you can combine it with PreSonus' Quantum or Quantum 2 models. That way you can also benefit from the excellent XMAX preamps. Studio One Professional is included so that you can easily assign your analogue hardware using the Pipeline XT plugin that also takes care of any latency.

- Please note: A system that supports Thunderbolt or Thunderbolt 2 is required. Systems that support Thunderbolt 3 will require a separate adapter.
