The mighty Antelope Audio Zen Tour desktop audio interface is made even more potent by the four DSP and two FPGA processors tucked up inside. These beasts can process even more effects so that your computer doesn't have to! Previously, this came down to a maximum of 16 channels, each loaded with four effects, but now, each of the 32 channels provided by the Zen Tour is able to handle up to eight effects, and a total of 36 effects come built-in. Every one of Antelope Audio's latest interfaces features the upgraded Synergy Core. A future-proof foundation that's fully prepared for processing any high-end effects that have yet to be developed, and the intelligent piece of studio gear you're looking at right now is no exception.
Thunderbolt 3 & USB 2.0
Another fresh feature includes lightning-fast Thunderbolt 3 support for both Windows and MacOS systems. While latency wasn't exactly something that bothered the previous Zen Tour, this latest version renders it practically non-existent, and even comes with eight DC-coupled analogue outputs that support control voltage (CV) applications to control modular synthesizers and other gear. Also, it's worth mentioning that this superbly smart interface has been equipped with an improved cooling system that efficiently reduces the chance of overheating.
Full Connectivity for Full Band Recording
While the Zen Tour Synergy Core may be compact, it's home to a great number of inputs and outputs, including four discrete instrument/line inputs, four microphone/line inputs, eight line outputs, two headphone outputs and two re-amp outputs. And we haven't even mentioned the fact that it can be expanded via ADAT and S/PDIF for an additional ten digital inputs and ten digital outputs. It's safe to say that should be enough to record a full band! The discrete microphone preamps inside this upgraded interface now provide 75 dBs of gain, while the dynamic range now matches that of the much pricier Orion Studio and goes all the way up to 130 dB. Add to that Antelope's microphone modelling technology and the ever-useful Routing Matrix and you've got everything you'll ever need!

Pourtant je dois avouer que les premiers jours m'avaient déçu de cette interface, je n'arrivais pas à obtenir le bundle des plugins ni la licence Bitwig normalement offerte à l'achat, et j'ai contacté dans un premier temps la maison mère de Bax Hollande, puis Antelope Audio et Bitwig car je n'avais pas de retour de Bax. Antelope Audio à répondu au bout de quelques jours, et m'a dit que la promo pour Bitwig n'était plus valable, Bax avait donc oublié de corriger son offre. Antelope audio, bien que non responsable du problème, m'a offert un bundle supplémentaire de 8 plugins, vraiment merci. Ensuite Bax Belgique m'a contacté pour les plugins que j'ai pu installer, avec ceux supplémentaire offert en geste commercial de la part d'Antelope Audio. Cela avait pris environs un mois, et dans mon mécontentement j'avais écris un mauvais avis dans l'espoir de faire réagir, et en fin de compte tour est réglé. Donc merci à Antelope Audio pour leur patience et le geste généreux, et aussi à Bax Anvers pour m'avoir répondu avec une explication détaillée, ainsi que pour leur service. Ça à pris un certains temps, mais au final je ne suis pas déçu, vraiment c'est un bijoux cette interface, je recommande vivement.

Article arrivé dans les délais annoncés par le vendeur. J'ai remarqué que le carton n'est pas celui du marchant en question mais carton d'UPS(livreur).
A l'ouverture du colis, c'est la stupéfaction car le contenue est complètement trempé d'eau? Allez savoir comment cela puisse arriver?! Heureusement que l'interface était dans un sac plastique ce qui a permis de la protéger car l'eau c'est infiltré partout et l'emballage de l'interface est parti à la poubelle.
Le produit lui-même est excellent rapport qualité/prix et comparé à la concurrence, il n'y à pas photo. Après activation du produit sur le site Antelope Audio, j'ai immédiatement reçu les plugins Native et ceux offerts avec la promotion.
Les préamplis micro et les entrées Hi Z sont de très grande qualité. Il y'à assez d'entrées et sorties. Les sorties casque sont d'un très haut niveau et la conversion AN/NA à la pointe de la technologie.
Il ne faut pas appréhender le système de rooting car une fois on comprend le fonctionnement c'est aussi simple qu'on l'imagine.
Autrement, l'interface est assez lourde et semble robuste, signe qu'elle tiendra dans le temps, l'esthétique est irréprochable et son écran permet de gérer tout sans recourir à la souri.
C'est un outil professionnel qui prend en charge l'émulation des hardwares analogiques et les microphones Antelope Audio pour soulager le CPU de l'ordinateur sans latence est remarquable! Comme on peut utiliser ses plugins avec votre DAW est aussi possible.
C'est un choix que je referais sans hésitation et si vous avez les moyens, allez y sans crainte.
