Rode’s Stereo VideoMic X is the latest edition from the renowned VideoMic series. The audio that accompanies your video images will become even more intense with this high-quality on-camera microphone. Increased recording quality is ensured by the addition of the Rycote suspension. The suspension prevents recordings from handling noise and vibrations. A digital switching circuit allows you to switch between filters and built-in settings, quickly and easily.

Fine-tuning of audio recordings

This VideoMic X is equipped with a mini-XLR connector, which ensures that you microphone cable will stay put! Two condenser capsules ensure crystal-clear, studioquality, stereo audio reproductions. The built-in, 3-step high-pass filter can be set to 0, 75 and 150 Hz, to filter ambient noise from your recording. Recording in loud or quiet environments – it is all possible. The adjustable sound level of -10 to +20 dB lets you record sound in a clearly defined manner.

Hours of comfortable recording

You can easily mount the microphone via the hot shoe connector. Even though this VideoMic X has a rugged metal construction, it weighs only 300 grams, so that you can comfortably record for hours without developing RSI. A 9V battery lets you record for up to 30 hours, but it can also be powered via a p48 phantom power supply. In this Rode VideoMic X quality and durability have been combined!
