This Zoom H2N handheld audio recorder combines excellent sound quality with user friendliness and flexibility. The most essential functions are literally at your fingertips. For all more advanced functions you can use the LCD screen. You can easily record sound onto an SD card. The H2N can be used in combination with the latest generation of SDHC card.

Zoom H2N: Special mid-side microphone
The H2N is the first handheld audio recorder, that uses mid-side microphones. According to the desired input of environmental sound, you can adjust the level of the side microphone. When recording in .RAW format, you can even set the level of the side microphone afterwards. In this manner, you are able to decide whether or not you think the environmental sound adds anything to the recording.

Four recording functions
The H2N allows you to elect one of four separate recording functions. Amongst which are the innovative mid-side H2N and a 90° x/y stereo function. Thanks to the double condenser microphones you can record perfect stereo recordings. The H2N also provides a 2 and 4 channel surround mode. By combining the X/Y stereo mode and the mid-side stereo mode, it is possible to make a 360° sound recording.
