General

OM System (formerly Olympus) ushers in the next-gen of handheld digital audio recorders. The LS-P5 hands users ultimate control over the stereo image thanks to Tresmic II technology. The three microphones capture a broad field to the left, right and in the middle and come backed up by a stack of twenty-one settings for configuring the stereo image. And, while you can record and save audio as WAV files, you can also record lossless FLAC files or MP3s and get the most out of the built-in 16 gigabyte internal memory. But just in case, the LS-P5 also features an SD card slot that's compatible with both micro-SDHC and micro-SDXC cards. This recorder does provide a clear and uncluttered menu structure navigated via a clean interface, and can also be controlled remotely via the DVR.Remote smartphone app.

Zeer tevreden over het apparaat. echter dacht ik dat er een mounting set bijzat voor op mijn camera. Is dat los bij te kopen? In eerste instantie dacht ik dat door zijn afmetingen het apparaat lastig te bedienen zou zijn maar dat valt reuze mee.

Ik zocht een goede betrouwbare dicteer en audio recorder in een en kwam uit op de OM LS-P5.
De OM LS-P51 is verrassend klein en licht in gewicht en is hierom makkelijk onopvallend te
dragen in een borstzak of op een camera.
Het is mijn allereerste portable dicteer/audio recorder en ondanks vele opties die ik nog moet ontdekken en persoonlijk moet maken heb ik verschillende testopnames gemaakt waar het geluid perfect wordt opgenomen en wordt weergegeven in hoge kwaliteit.
Voor mij een goede aanwinst.
