The most prominent feature of the Carl Martin Ottawa is it's fast dynamic response. Play softly for a subtle envelope effect or slap the strings to release an intense, high-pitched wah. Use the Attack pot to set the dynamic sensitivity as preferred, while the Tone pot essentially functions as a high-pass filter - the further you turn it to the left, the more the higher frequencies are filtered out. Meanwhile, the Q-pot tweaks the bandwidth, handing you control over the balance between brightness and warmth.
