Enjoy full mobility with the Behringer Eurolive B207MP3 monitor! This portable, lightweight device can be mounted on a microphone stand and adjusted to the desired height. The B207MP3 can be used as a PA during meetings and small performances, and delivers HI-FI sound and is equipped with a variety of features, such as a built-in MP3 player.
Playing MP3s with the B207MP3
The Behringer B207MP3 has a built-in MP3 player via USB, so you can easily play all of your favourite music from a thumb drive. The MP3 player is equipped with its own menu control with display and volume control. The MP3 player is equipped with its own menu control with display and volume control.
Lightweight, with built-in mixer
Thanks to the revolutionary class D amp technology and internal switched-mode power supply, the B207MP3 speakers not only sound great, but they also weigh much less than conventional active speakers (only 5.1 kg). They pump 150 watts out of a compact speaker, and you can daisy chain multiple speaker systems with the convenient THRU socket. A built-in mixer provides three input channels, including a switchable input for instruments (no DI necessary), and a unique 3-band EQ (bass/mid/treble) for simple yet effective tone control.
Class D amplifiers
Instead of working continuously like class AB circuits, class D amplifiers switch on and off thousands of times per second so they only deliver power when necessary. In other words, the amplifier is either fully on or fully off, which decreases power loss and increases efficiency. Thanks to the switched-mode power supply, the class D amplifiers are much lighter so you can transport them easily to your events and performances.
High-quality sound system
You can set up a full-fledged high-quality sound system with just one B207MP3 speaker system and a microphone. Thanks to the built-in preamp, you can connect a dynamic microphone and adjust the volume with the LEVEL knob. Just connect your sound source (CD or MP3 player) and tuck the system away on a table or mic stand. It's that easy. If you need more coverage, you can daisy chain as many additional system as you want via the link output XLR connector.
Tips or comments about this product
Please note: when mounting your B207MP3 on a stand, you can attach the mic boom on top of it. The monitor will be at a non-adjustable angle.

One point, not mentioned in the advertising: use a sturdy mic stand, with a wide base spacing, as otherwise it may be a bit 'top heavy'. Also, make sure that any boom-arm stand that you use (needed if you want to position the speaker horizontally) has a very secure locking mechanism! You don't want it to tip forward and fall off the stand. A short boom arm is best, as it won't protrude too far behind the speaker. One acoustic trio that I mix for were very impressed with unit, as they can now have a lower level of foldback, compared to using a normal wedge: this minimises the 'spill' from their foldback, always a bonus on smaller stages.
