The electro-acoustic Fender CD-140SCE All Mahogany is a variety of the CD-140S, one of Fender's most popular steel-string guitars. Where the CD-140S features a spruce top, All Mahogany version features, of course, a mahogany top. This, together with the mahogany sides, back and neck, gives it a noticeably deeper and warmer sound while retaining the necessary clarity. Thanks to the solid top you're guaranteed a sound that carries!
The electro-acoustic CD-140SCE All Mahogany
This is an electro-acoustic guitar, so amplifying it is a piece of cake. Connect the CD-140SCE to a mixer, acoustic guitar amplifier or audio interface and notice how the acoustic sound is perfectly reproduced by the Fishman Presys pickup system with built-in equalizer and tuning device. This western guitar forms a good step up from a beginners instrument and is not only suited for practising but also for use on stage and in a home studio.
The looks and comfort
The mahogany gives the Fender CD140SCE All Mahogany a warm look, in addition to a warm sound. Its stylish dark-brown guise combines beautifully with the tortoise pickguard and bindings along the fretboard and body. Note the beautiful mother-of-pearl Fender logo on the headstock. The cutaway body is as practical as it is graceful, as it lets you reach the highest frets with ease.
