General

Whether you're at home, on the street, or on the road, the Yamaha APX T2 is the ideal compact electro-acoustic guitar. This quality instrument is based on the original model from 1994, and has been fully adapted to meet today's standards, giving it a sound and feel like never before. The APXT2 is a pure-bred Yamaha guitar. With a string length of 580 mm and a smaller body, it's the ultimate travel companion. You also get a sturdy gig bag along with it. The APX T2 is available in four colours including the featured Old Violin Sunburst.

APX T2 Old Violin Sunburst: pure Yamaha strength

Yamaha is known for their high quality and durability, and the APX T2 is no exception. This small guitar has a spruce top, with sides and back of meranti. The 21-fret nato neck is firmly glued into body with the classic dovetail joint technique. The neck has a width of 43 mm at the headstock, and is equipped with a rosewood fretboard with small stylish position markers. Thanks to the large cutaway in the body, you can easily access the higher frets.

Electronics

The APXT2 is equipped with a new pickup system based on Yamaha's ART (Acoustic Resonance Transducer) contact piëzo. This is mounted to the top under the bridge, so the pure acoustic sound is naturally and optimally picked up. Additionally, the guitar features a built-in preamplifier: the Yamaha System68. This can be found on the side of the body and is equipped with volume and tone control. Yamaha has also built in a tuner for improved accuracy.

Ik heb een aankoop gedaan van een B-stock versie van dit artikel, hier ben ik normaal geen voorstander van. Echter ging het om enkel beschadigde verpakking en het pakket is dan ook in goede orde bezorgd.

Later dan aangegeven en ik kreeg de mogelijkheid om de kosten van bezorging te laten crediteren. Deze mogelijkheid heb ik niet aangenomen, mede door de omstandigheden waar nu in gewerkt moet worden. Service en vriendelijkheid is top bij Bax.
