Netherlands-based company Berben Design is busy doing some innovative things with old drums, and here, have transformed a disused tom into a stunning suspended lamp. Install it above the dinner table and set yourself up with a unique talking point, or finish off the chill-out room of your studio with the perfect lighting. This lamp has been made by hand, is 24cm high, 24cm deep, and 18cm high, and comes fitted with a larger, E27 bulb fixture and a 120cm cable length. This lamp cannot be set up for dimming and can only be fitted with LED bulbs with a maximum output of 600 lumen.

Since the tom drum weighs 1.8kg, which is somewhat heavier than standard lamps, it comes with a steel cable included so that you can be certain of secure installation. Also, since it is so heavy, placing it out of the way is advised, since hitting your head on this lamp will hurt. This unique lamp can be combined with other Berben Design pieces, like the drum clock, table lamps, wall lamps, or wall cabinet for a complete interior look.
