General

Fender developed The Fuzz Pelt effects pedal after consulting a large number of guitarists who were looking for a fresher-sounding silicon fuzz pedal. You can control the amount of fuzz using the dedicated control knob and there's a level control for adjusting the overall volume as well. There's also a tone knob and with the bloom control you can adjust the contours of the sound. In addition to the knobs, The Fuzz Pelt also has two switches: you can cut or boost the mid range using the mid switch and there's a thick switch that beefs up the sound too. Finally, you can choose between true or buffered bypass when the pedal is not activated.

Wrote the following about Fender The Pelt Fuzz effects pedal

Had eerder de Dunlop FFM3 Jimi Hendrix Fuzz. Zonder meer een fantastische fuzz, die zo dichtbij JH komt, maar toch eigenlijk ‘a one trick pony’. De Fender The Pelt daarentegen heeft zoveel mogelijkheden om de fuzz naar je eigen mogelijkheden aan te passen. De Bloom-knop fantastisch (soft naar hard). MID-schakelaar (extra of minder) top! De THICK-schakelaar (voor extra laag) top! Instellingen te over, van milde overdrive tot over the top fuzz! Echt een grandioos en veelzijdig fuzz-pedaal.

Goede productinformatie waardoor een gerichte aankoop goed mogelijk is. Snelle levering. Heel degelijk aanvoelend apparaat met veel mogelijkheden die makkelijk instelbaar zijn. Geluiden variëren van soepel klinkend vioolachtig geluid tot een stevig fuzz geluid. Een overdrive of distortion pedaal is eigenlijk al niet meer nodig, maar daarmee kun je in combinatie met het fuzz geluid wel mooie combinaties maken die breed inzetbaar zijn bij blues, rock en metal.
Kortom, een geweldig veelzijdig pedaal en prettig geprijsd!
