There once was a mysterious era called The Nineties, during which a certain English company began developing a series of highly innovative and wildly experimental effect pedals. While a few years later Lovetone's endeavour came to a halt, their creations - especially the Big Cheese - continued to live throughout the history of music thanks to artists such as The Edge (U2), Jimmy Page, Radiohead, Gary Moore and many others. A short production period coupled with a surge in popularity subsequently caused second-hand prices to explode. Fortunately, the prayers of many guitarists have finally been answered: meet the JHS Cheese Ball.

Say Cheese Ball!

The JHS Cheese Ball is a fuzz and distortion pedal that comes with the usual tone, volume and gain controls, as well as a special Mode button that gives you access to four different sounds. When turned to Off-mode, the stompbox delivers a bright, trashy sound while Mode 1 gives you a mid-scooped sound that's reminiscent of the Big Muff. The third option is great if you prefer a mid-boost to help you punch through the mix while the final mode includes extreme gated fuzz tone. To cut to the cheese, the JHS Cheese Ball is a tastefully versatile effects pedal loaded with various, authentic sounds!

Goede Fuzz pedaal : het blijft altijd fuzz maar je hebt veel richtingen die je kan uit gaan dankzij de regelaars. Stutterend velcro achtig, meer richting distortion, .... Maar altijd met een eigen fuzz karakter.
Een goed evenwicht tussen wat meer experimentele fuzz en beter verteerbare fuzz. Ideaal om fuzz op verschillende manieren in te zetten in songs.
