General
It's back and better than ever - Way Huge's Swollen Pickle. Contrary to most fuzz effect pedals, this stomp box produces an extra high gain fuzz sound while retaining your bass tones. No overdrive or distortion, but the fat, rough sound that Jimi Hendrix could only dream of! The Swollen Pickle MKII delivers an enormous range of usable sounds thanks to the versatile in-tune controls. No matter what position the knobs are in, the result is always pleasing to the ears. The Way Huge Swollen Pickle should not be omitted from the pedal arsenal of any stomp box fan.
Easily create the most delectable fuzz sounds with Way Huge's Swollen Pickle
With only five knobs of the WH401 Swollen Pickle, you can create a wide range of fuzz sounds easily. The Sustain control lets you adjust the amount of fuzz, ranging from a mild edge to mad tonal violence. The Loudness knob is a volume control that allows you to push any amp to the brink. What's more, the Filter knob isn't your average run of the mill EQ, turn it completely to the left for a cool lo-fi sound, or all the way right for direct, more open fuzz sounds. A new feature on the Swollen Pickle are the Scoop and Crunch potentiometers. The Scoop lets you control the mids of the fuzz sound while the Crunch takes care of the level of compression. The Swollen Pickle MII's options are virtually endless!
Fully stocked fuzz pedal
Inside the WH401 Swollen Pickle is a duo of mini potentiometers to fine tune your sound. Use the Clip control to set the sustain for the fuzz and the Voice knob to set the intensity of the Scoop control. The Swollen Pickle Fuzz is powered by a single 9V battery or Dunlop ECB003 adapter (both separately available). A blue LED shows you whether the pedal is on, but turns itself off when the battery is low. The adapter input of the Swollen Pickle features a safety that prevents damage from using a wrong adapter. Lastly, the relays-based True Bypass circuit ensures that the pedal retains the original tone while countering loss of signal.
