Pigtronix brings an analogue, high-gain fuzz pedal with a gigantic sound with the Gas Giant.
This stompbox is based on the iconic transistor fuzzes from 1970s New York. So you can count on a fat, vintage-inspired sound that is always in the sweet spot, thanks to carefully matched transistor sets. Whether you play on single coils or humbuckers, the Gas Giant provides a full, growling tone with a lively sound.

Gas Giant: wide tonal range

The pedal features Gain, Volume and a versatile Tone knob with two tunings: a classic 'scoop' with deep basses and pronounced highs, or the characteristic Pigtronix 'bump' for extra midrange punch. This tone control affects the full spectrum of the fuzz sound, allowing you to switch from vintage murky to modern brutal with one knob. Its compact body makes it an ideal addition to any pedalboard.

Built-in noise gate

What really completes this pedal is the built-in, switchable noise gate with blazing fast FET circuits - derived from the Gatekeeper and perfectly matched to the fuzz section. This keeps your signal tight, even at extreme gain. The Gas Giant runs on standard 9V DC, has true bypass switching and draws less than 100mA. As a result, you can easily integrate this Pigtronix effect pedal on your pedalboard.
