A smaller and more pedalboard-friendly edition of the OG, the Blue Violet Caprid Small Foot from Wren and Cuff has been based on a mid-seventies Violet-era Ram's Head fuzz and features three very-special hand-selected orange-dot transistors plus a single violet-dot transistor. This carefully chosen combo results in a sublime gain range, giving you rich and saturated Muff-style output that, just like the bigger version, treats everything a light aggressive edge while piling on some rich, violin-grade sustain.

Even despite the absence of the wider 3003 open layout and larger 1/2 Watt carbon-comp resistors, the sound of this slimmed down stompbox still comes as close as it gets to the sound of the original Blue Violet Caprid - and that's largely thanks to those hand-matched transistors. Basically, this pedal will please any guitarist that's looking for classic yet even fuzz with an earthy low-end character, prominent trebles and scooped Muff-flavoured mids.
