GoPro Hero 4 Session digital camera

General
The GoPro Hero 4 Session camera is 50% smaller than regular Hero 4 cameras, and as it only weighs 74 grams, it's also 40% lighter. It does, however, offer the same high-quality video and photo modes. This camera comes with a standard frame and a low-profile frame, which allow for four different ways of mounting, and of course it includes a USB cable. You use the latter to charge the built-in 1030mAh Lithium-Ion battery, which allows for approximately 2.5 hours of recording when fully charged.
Ultimate flexibility
Hero 4 Session cameras come with specially designed mounts and accessories, which are also compatible with standard GoPro gear. With the included Low-Profile Frame, the camera takes up the least amount of space. The Standard Frame is suited for a wide variety of applications. Both of the aforementioned frames allow you to tilt the camera up or down, but the Ball Joint Buckle allows you to quickly and easily aim the camera any which way you want.
Professional video and photo quality
With the Hero 4 Session camera, you can record high-quality video. Shoot some footage in 1440p/30fps or 1080p/60fps, and enjoy its razor-sharp imaging. When you record in a higher frame rate (720p/100fps), it allows you to slow down the captured footage. The Hero4 Session camera even allows you to record in SuperView, which shoots pictures and videos with a remarkably wide angle lens. Furthermore, this camera features several modes you can select when taking pictures. Take an 8MP photograph, or use the Time Lapse mode which takes pictures with intervals ranging from 0.5 to 60 seconds. You can also take a Burst Shot of 10 pictures per second, and then select the one you like best. Thanks to the Auto Low Light feature, the GoPro Hero 4 Session camera can quickly adjust their frame rate, depending on how much light reaches the camera. This means you can easily walk outside on a sunny day, without the camera taking ages to adjust to its new, brighter surroundings. It might also come in quite handy for musicians, especially when recording a live performance with constantly changing stage lighting.
Durable and waterproof
The Hero4 Session comes in a highly durable housing, and it's waterproof up to 33 feet deep. As such, you won't need a separate case or housing like you did with the previous models. These separate waterproof cases had another disadvantage, as they dampened the sound, which is a problem that's also solved by using the Hero 4 Session. It's a great camera to bring along to the beach or a swimming pool, allowing for both excellent audio and video.
GoPro App
With the GoPro App (available free of charge), you can adjust all of the camera's settings through a WiFi connection. Furthermore, you can use your phone, iPad, tablet, PC or Mac as a sort of viewfinder, streaming live footage from your camera, or viewing footage you recorded earlier and editing or deleting it as you will. You can even set it to high or low quality, depending on how much bandwidth you want to use. The GoPro App also functions as a remote control: simply set up the camera and start recording from a distance using the app on your phone or tablet.
Easy controls
As mentioned before, you can use the GoPro App to adjust the camera's settings to suit your needs, allowing you to determine in which mode and frame rate you want the camera to start up in. After that, it only takes one press of a button to turn the camera on and start recording videos or taking time lapse photos. Press the button again and the camera stops recording and switches off automatically. It doesn't get any easier!
Dual Mic system
The GoPro Hero 4 Session cameras are fitted with a special microphone system. There are mono mics situated at both the front and back of the device, which comes in especially handy when you're in a windy environment. Thanks to the Dual Mic System, the camera automatically picks the microphone that will result in the best audio quality. If the wind's in your face, then the camera will select the mic on the back. Is the wind in your back, then it will activate the mic on the front. This is done completely automatically, and of course you won't be able to hear this switching in the eventual recordings.

The New GoPro HERO4 Session Model
Thursday 9 July 2015This is not just any new GoPro. No, this is the smallest GoPro yet: the GoPro HERO4 Session! What's even more remarkable, however, is that it offers the exact same recording quality and nearly all the same features as its larger siblings. And did we mention that it's waterproof up to 33 feet deep?
