General
The Palmer RIVER iller is there to create a galvanic separation between your devices. The input and output are connected with the intervention of a transformer. This prevents noise and other unwanted interference. It also turns an unbalanced signal into a balanced signal, so the signal can be transferred over longer cables and distances without adversely affecting sound quality. It operates completely passively and thus does not require a power supply, making it easy and quick to deploy. The iller has an XLR/jack combination input, allowing many different instruments and devices to be connected.
