General
The Palmer RIVER kyll is a handy 2-channel line isolator. By interrupting the signal with a transformer, a galvanic isolator is formed. This does let the signal through, but prevents humming ground loops. It also turns an unbalanced signal into a balanced one. So, for example, you can connect a keyboard with unbalanced outputs to a mixer, without the long cables causing the sound quality to deteriorate. Compared to other isolators, the kyll can handle signals with a very high level, up to +20dBu. The XLR/jack combination inputs avoid the need to use adapter cables.
