The tremolo bridges of Fender/Squier Jazzmaster and Jaguar models are loved for their smooth and subtle vibrato effects, but also infamous for their rattling saddles — a problem that can get to the point where the noise is even picked up by the pickups. Thankfully, the Allparts Buzz Stop can solve that problem once and for all. This specially designed piece of chrome-plated metal doesn't look out of place and won't get in the way of your left hand.

How It Works

The saddles of a vintage-style Jaguar/Jazzmaster bridge are fairly delicate. This, in combination with the lower-than-standard string tension of a tremolo unit, gives the saddles and screws too much room to wobble, which they'll eventually start doing, resulting in a rattling sound. The Buzz Stop simply increases the string tension by increasing the angle at which the strings run from the tailpiece to the bridge, reducing the potential wiggle room.
