With this Boston KIT-AGD-15 self-assembly kit, you can build a beautiful dreadnought acoustic guitar with a bright sound and classic look at your own pace. This kit contains all the parts you need to build yourself a complete acoustic guitar, with a spruce top and sapele sides and back. All the wood still needs to be sanded and treated, so some knowledge is required. Also, the neck block still needs to be milled out, on the neck the dovetail joint is already prepared. The advantage is that you can choose the finish yourself, e.g. with oil or lacquer.

Building fun and learning at the same time

The Boston KIT-AGD-15 kit is not only ideal for those who have always wanted to build a guitar, but also perfect for gaining more insight into how an acoustic guitar is really put together. All bracings are also ready to use, as is the bridge. You do have to fit the neck pin (truss rod) yourself and although the fingerboard is milled out, the frets are not included. So you have to provide those yourself, which in turn gives you the advantage of free choice. In summary, this kit is the perfect stepping stone for guitarists who already have some experience with woodworking and would like a taste of guitar building without having to start from scratch.
