General

The Cioks DC8 is a professional power supply designed for small to medium sized pedalboards loaded with pedals running on direct current (DC). Outfitted with both 9V and 12V outputs - four of which capable of 100 mA output plus another four with a maximum of 300 mA - the DC8 is ready to supply a maximum of 1,000 mA. The 100 mA outputs are ideal for low-power pedals such as analogue boosters, overdrives and distortions while digital pedals such as Eventide's processors and Holy Grail pedals from Electro Harmonix require power from the 300 mA outputs.

Construction

Housed in a hard-wearing metal box, the Cioks DC8 is essentially a safe and compact way to provide your possibly expensive pedals with juice. Inside of the multi-pedal power supply sits a magnetically shielded ring-core transformer that keeps any noise and interference away from your guitar signal and, in addition, Cioks have thoughtfully distributed the eight, LED-indicated outputs across six isolated sections and have takes measure to protect each output against short circuiting.

Accessories

Next to the Cioks DC8, you're getting eleven Cioks Flex cables, including a Stack Flex and a Split Flex cable. The Stack Flex cable allows you to combine two outputs into a single 9V/12V output, whereas the Split Flex cable lets you hook up two pedals to a single output. Besides the cable pack, the DC8 comes complete with a pedalboard mounting bracket.

De Cioks heeft mijn ruisproblemen opgelost! Hiervoor had ik een T rex fueltank die bij gebruik van mijn ocd en xotic AC+ en vervelende brom gaf. Met de DC8 is eindelijk alles stil.
