General

Amplifying an acoustic guitar is child's play with the reliable, famous Dean Markley SC-1 ProMag Plus sound hole pickup. This rich-sounding maple pickup can easily be clipped to the rim of the sound hole. You won't need any mounting materials, unhooking it is a doddle and it leaves no trace on your valuable instrument. It comes with a pre-fitted 4-metre cable that you can use to connect the ProMag Plus to a guitar amplifier, acoustic guitar pedal or a mixer, for instance.

Binnenmaten worden niet gegeven en deze pastte niet in het klankgat van mijn Spaans klassieke gitaar. Gelukkig is de behuizing van hout dus heb ik het schuimmateriaal verwijderd, de gleuven een halve centimeter dieper gevijld en een paar millimeter aan de uiteinden verwijderd. Daarna pastte het element wel maar deed het element het niet op mijn versterker. Weggegooid geld en tijd.

Als geluidsverhuurder wordt je met de meest onverwachte situaties geconfronteerd.
Vanaf nu zit dit handige elementje in mijn standaard uitrusting.
Perfect als er weer eens een muzikant voorbij komt met een willekeurige gitaar.
Zo'n gitarist heeft meestal niet de discipline om voor een goeie microfoon te blijven staan, dus dan is dit 'the best next thing'. Als je het geluid netjes afgesteld hebt blijft de klank in elk geval constant en dat is wat je als geluidsman het liefste hebt.
