General

With this set, DiMarzio makes it very easy to replace the pickups on your ST-style guitar. The DiMarzio HS Strat Replacement Pickguard consists of three single-coil pickups and an ST-style pickguard with matching knobs and switch. The installation is completely solderless! In the neck position and middle position, you get a DP217W HS-4 element, which gives quite a bit of precision and clarity on the higher strings, with no hum. In the bridge position is a DP117W HS-3 element, which has a relatively low output and therefore gives a warmer sound than the HS-4 and also works very well with distortion. This set is therefore well suited for the guitarist looking for the classic metal sound!
