EMG brings Retro Active technology to the world of single-coils with this Crossroads Set. These pickups give you a sound instantly reminiscent of legendary guitarists like Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimi Hendrix. Each pickup is differently voiced, making this set excellently balanced. Thus, even the intermediate positions are quite useful, in addition to the familiar blues tones you can expect in positions 1, 3 and 5.

Crossroads: Best of both worlds

The EMG Crossroads Set combines the advantages of active pickups with the dynamic response of passive pickups. In short, an authentic vintage sound, but without the unwanted noises associated with single-coil pickups. This set comes complete with the corresponding potentiometers, element switch and cables. Soldering is not required for installation.
