General
Specifically designed for seven-string electric guitars with passive mount routing, the EMG 85-7H active humbucker comes complete with an installation pack, all of which is wired in via EMG's solderless system. This active humbucker is based on a truly legendary pickup - the EMG 85 - and features accurately placed coils and Alnico V magnets, giving you the raw power needed for roaring rhythms and supple leads, whether you're a blues guitarist or into the blackest of black metal. While often dropped in the neck position, this 7-string version can also be installed at the bridge and is a solid sidekick for practically any other EMG humbucker.

Mis en position manche sur une Ibanez prestige, je suis très content de ce micro. Un peu difficile à monter car les micros d'origines étaient directement montés sur la table et j'ai donc dû adapter la cavité. Mais ça a plus à voir avec la guitare que les micros. Sinon pour le son et la facilité de câblage 5/5.
