Fender drop the CuNiFe Stratocaster Pickup Set: a trio of precision-engineered pickups designed to deliver impressive sound and kick-start a new era. Made of a unique alloy that consists of a mix of copper, nickel and iron, these slick-looking single-coils boast a vintage voicing packed out with piano-like lows, delicious mids and sparkling highs, breathing fresh life into any Strat that could do with a fat upgrade.
The CuNiFe Stratocaster Pickup Set: Extra-Silent Single-Coils
These Fender CuNiFe Stratocaster pickups come equipped with chrome rings that not only add a touch of style but help to keep unwanted hum to a minimum, so while they're not real noiseless pickups, they're certainly not as noisy as your average single-coil. What's also interesting to note is that the original CuNiFe pickups were taken out of production when Fender quit building the Telecaster Custom in 1979.
