Each single-coil comes voiced by Alnico 2 magnets that shape a familiar warmth alongside transparency, a wealth of rich overtones, and a nice dip in the mid-range. Since the poles have been staggered, every string is given clear presence, explaining just why legends like Eric Clapton have built careers on this tried-and-true Strat sound.
