Fender and master-guitarist Eric Johnson serve up a sublime upgrade for Strats equipped with three pickups and an 11-hole pickguard: the Pre-Wired Strat Pickguard Eric Johnson Signature. Here, the custom single-coil pickup at the bridge gives you the warm, tight and dynamic tone of an AlNiCo V magnet, while the custom reverse-wound single-coil planted in the middle puts a fresh, no-hum spin on the mid pickup of a 1963 Stratocaster. The AlNiCo III custom neck pickup, meanwhile, wields the sound of a 1954 Strat, completing a high-output trinity that offers the sonic versatility that all-round guitarists like Johnson demand.

Gekocht met de kortingsactie.
Wel een beetje jammer dat DHL niet zorgvuldig met dit soort van verzendingen om gaat.
Bij aankomst lag heel de doos uit elkaar het leek wel of er iemand op gestaan had.

Ik heb deze pickguard samen gekocht met een Fender Player II RW Birch Green Stratocaster.
Voor een totaalprijs van iets boven de 1000 Euro heb ik dan gewoon precies wat mijn wens was.
Niet zo’n peperdure Custom Shop waar je niet mee kan giggen, maar een heel verfijnd apparaat met super kwaliteit pickups waarbij een keertje omvallen niet uitmaakt.
