General

Many guitarists choose to alter the sound of their guitars by changing their pickups. If you own a Telecaster, but you can't quite muster the rough Texas blues sound you're looking for with your existing setup, this set of Tex-Mex pickups (one for the bridge and one for the neck) will do the job very nicely.

Tex-Mex Telecaster Pickup Set

Both of the pickups are overwound and have an Alnico 5 magnet that gives them a relatively high output for tight clear bass and bright trebles. The higher output will push an amplifier into overdrive more easily too, so if you're looking for a set of pickups that'll give you everything from clean to mean tones, this Tex-Mex set by Fender is perfect.

Voor 85 euro is mijn Standard MIM telecaster onherkenbaar geworden.

De Tex-Mex pickup set heeft haar de sound gegeven die ik moest missen met de standard pickups.

Montage is vrij eenvoudig als je de nodige tools hebt en een gitaar weet af te stellen.
