General
An acoustic guitar gets its name from the fact that the sound is produced acoustically. The sound is as natural as it gets, but has its limits when it comes to volume. To get around that, an element can be built in, like this Fishman AG-125 Wide pickup. This is a passive piezo element, which is placed under the saddle. This way, the guitar can be easily connected to mixing consoles and PA systems in studios and on stage. This increases your potential audience and the usability of your instrument. And with Fishman, the quality is more than up to scratch.
