General

When metal guitarist Matt Heafy of Trivium got his hands on a set of Fluence pickups, he was immediately sold. So it wasn't long before he got his own Custom Series, this Fishman Fluence Custom Series Matt Heafy Pickup Set Black. The multivoice elements in this set have either an alnico V (neck) or a ceramic VIII (bridge) and are powered by a 9V battery (not included). Depending on how they are switched, they produce three different sounds: voice 1 is a dynamic, modern and full sound with delineated articulation, voice 2 is a powerful, classic humbucker sound with a bright midrange, and voice 3 gives you a clean single coil sound. These pickups are very versatile and have a high output, making them ideal for harder guitar work.
