Are you looking for that unmistakeable Slash sound? Seymour Duncan's APH-2S Alnico II Pro pickup set was designed in collaboration with the legendary guitarist himself. This pair of feisty humbuckers are based on the original Alnico 2 humbuckers from Slash's favourite single-cut guitar and feature a few extra coil windings compared the standard APH-1, allowing you to push a standard single-cut model to sweet sustain and aggressive crunch. In short, it produces the characteristic Slash sound as can be heard in hundreds of world-famous tracks since 1986.

Features of the APH-2S Alnico II Pro Slash

Like the APH-1 Alnico II Pro, these pickups are made with Alnico 2 magnets, which are known for shaping warm, vintage tone full of deep basses and sweet trebles. To match the sound, the housing of the APH-2S Alnico II Pro Slash Signature humbuckers also boasts vintage style, featuring a long-legged base plate, a wooden spacer, and a single braided conductor. To finish, both pickups come finished with a black and a cream-coloured coil for that zebra-style look, as well as stamped with a skull-and-top-hat logo on the underside.
