The pre-loaded and pre-wired EMG JMaster Pickguard System can give your classic 25.5 inch offset electric guitar the fully upgraded, hum-free sound of a set of wide-range Hi-Fi single-coils and SPC & EXG controls. Part of EMG's Retro Active Line Up and made for the Jazzmaster, both pickups feature Alnico V cores and wide, stacked coils giving you a more active, Hi-Fi variation on the already legendary, rich and balanced wide-range single-coil tone of the originals. And the best bit? All of it is easily installed, solder-free.

The EMG JMaster Pickguard System: Offset Guitar Sound + Versatile SPC & EXG Control

This active, pre-wired kit places a set of controls on the upper horn of your guitar, so you can engage a powerful mid-boost by simply rolling the SPC Strat presence control open; flip the little switch next to it, and gain a clean boost that covers the entire frequency spectrum, up to a maximum 12 decibels and, next to that, the EXG expander control can be used to simultaneously push up the trebles and push down the mids, packing the higher and lower frequency ranges with defined presence. Before installation, we recommend double checking the routing of your model so that you're sure it matches with the pickups and wiring.
