Alnico 4 magnets have become rare in guitar country. However, humbuckers with Alnico 4 magnets produce a very authentic, vintage sound, as heard on the best records from the 1970s. Seymour Duncan embraces this Alnico 4 magnet with the Saturday Night Special Black Set humbuckers. This set, consisting of a bridge and neck element, takes your guitar in a time machine to the seventies. So with the Saturday Night Special Set, your guitar will produce a very balanced, classic sound, with full cleans and vocal-like leads. Where other neck humbuckers often sound woolly, the neck element of this set sounds particularly clear and articulate, for a distinctive sound.

Seymour Duncan Saturday Night Special: best of both worlds

The sound of this humbucker pair is very authentic and vintage, but the connection options are anything but. Both pickups feature a 4-core shielded wire, making them connectable and switchable in all sorts of ways. With the right potentiometers, you can then also split and/or phase the pickups, for a range of tonal options. Monday blues are a thing of the past, because with the Seymour Duncan Saturday Night Special Black Set humbuckers, every guitar session creates the atmosphere of a Saturday night!
