General
The Seymour Duncan SH-10b Full Shred 7-String bridge humbucker gives you 7-string medium output guitar tones with a clear focus in the highs. The Alnico 5 magnet together with the hexagonal screw-poles ensure plenty of clarity in the highs and pleasantly tight bass frequencies. The bass and trebles remain excellently balanced, while the midrange is slightly scooped. Besides musical styles like rock and metal, this double-coil pickup's warm sound also makes it great for more traditional genres like electric blues. Because of its sublime tightness, you can also use the Seymour Duncan Full Shred with lower guitar tunings on your 7-string and with quite a bit of distortion and/or overdrive. The wax potting of this 7-string element ensures that you won't suffer from squeaky feedback. The 4-wire cable of this SH-10b 7 gives you multiple wiring options such as coil splitting and parallel connection.
