The Seymour Duncan SH-6n Duncan Distortion Neck Humbucker is a pickup that packs a real punch in the neck position of your electric guitar. Thanks to the combination of a large ceramic magnet and high-gain coil windings, this passive humbucker produces a strikingly powerful sound: from full, slightly aggressive rhythm parts to smooth solo tones when played with gain. The low strings remain tight and bright, whilst the high strings sparkle with plenty of harmonics. The pickup has been specifically designed to match the Distortion bridge pickup, but also performs well on its own, delivering clear, almost bell-like clean tones. The 4-core lead allows for a variety of wiring configurations, and anyone looking for a powerful, versatile pickup for the neck position will find exactly what they’re after in this hand-built pickup – finished in black powder coat.
