General

The Seymour Duncan SJM-3b is the ideal upgrade for guitarists who want to fit their Jazzmaster with a powerful bridge pickup without compromising on tone. Thanks to the hand-polished 1/4” Alnico V magnet poles, combined with an increased number of windings, this single-coil pickup delivers impressive output and a linear frequency response. You’ll immediately notice the extra sustain and drive, particularly when playing solos. Compared to the Vintage (SJM-1) and Hot (SJM-2) models, the Quarter Pound pickup offers even more punch, making chords sound full and harmonious and allowing leads to cut effortlessly through the mix. Suitable for blues, classic rock, garage and even nu-metal. This version is specifically designed for the bridge position, has no housing and features PVC wiring.
