General
The Seymour Duncan SJM-3n is a Jazzmaster-style single-coil pickup for the neck position, ideal if you’re looking for a powerful and warm strumming tone. Thanks to its hand-polished quarter-inch Alnico V pole pieces and an increased number of windings, this pickup delivers high output with a linear frequency response. The result is more punch and drive compared to the Vintage (SJM-1) and Hot (SJM-2) models, making this pickup excel in genres such as blues, classic rock, garage and even heavy rock right through to nu-metal. With a DC resistance of 12.5 kOhm, it offers sufficient sustain for solos. The pickup is wax-potted for stability and comes without a cover – perfect for guitarists who take their sound seriously.
