General
This is the Suhr Thornbucker + Humbucker Bridge 50mm. This is a slightly over-wound Pete Thorn signature PAF-style 8.8 kOhm double-coil bridge element, intended for electric guitars in particular but also suitable for semi-acoustic guitars. This pickup is based on that revered Patent Applied For element from the 1950s and possesses its best features. To give your amplified guitar just a little more punch to rock out, Suhr and Pete designed this Plus version with extra windings than the regular Thornbucker. Otherwise, the + shares its base with this meticulously developed PAF style humbucker. So for the rest, this Alnico 4 pickup still offers you clear and tight core tones for the bridge position, bringing out all the details and feel of your guitar playing nicely authentically. Moreover, this pickup also features modern 4-wire coil-splitting and offers you that consistency and quality of Suhr.
