With the “IK Multimedia ToneX Pedal with active FRFR cabinet” kit, you’ll have a complete, stage-ready setup that lets you take your favourite amp sounds with you wherever you go. The IK Multimedia ToneX Pedal not only lets you choose from thousands of Tone Models, but also enables you to capture your own (tube) amps and use them live with hyper-realistic cabinet and microphone reproduction via VIR technology, including the option to load your own IRs. Practical onboard effects such as EQ, compressor, noise gate and stereo reverbs round the package off, whilst you can control everything precisely via MIDI and an external expression pedal and recall up to 150 presets instantly. You can also use it as a high-quality audio interface via USB. The active FRFR speaker cabinet ensures a neutral, powerful reproduction of your sounds, and with the included guitar cable, you can start playing straight away.

Overall, a very good sounding pedal. I look forward to the next updated that, as I understand it, should implement delays and modulations.

Positive point:
[a] Very nice, amp-like sounds.
[b] Simple use interface.
[c] Light.
[d] Standard power supply requirements.

Negative points:
[a] Noisy footswitches (they are not super-noisy but they are not silent either). The ToneX One has a silent footswitch.
[b] Lack of TRS balanced outputs.
[c] It is not possible to disable the bypass (if one hits the current preset/fooswitch the unit goes in bypass).
[d] It is not possible to send external audio in via the USB port and listen to the processed guitar at the same time. This makes it impossible to practice with headphones and external audio.
[e] The PC software could be more intuitive and crucially, better explained in the documentation.

You can get good sounds from the Tonex pedal but I don’t find the software as good as other modelling equipment. The major downside for me is using it live. I’m used to being able to make changes on the pedal in a live situation then save them. Unfortunately the Tonex pedal reverts back to the original settings if you step away from the patch and return to it. I’m told you have to make the changes on the software on your PC then transfer it to the pedal. Unacceptable for my usage and I probably wouldn’t have bought it if I knew this upfront.

kabel eigenlijk te stijf draaid zich in lus en de haakse plug lost onmiddelijk sluitings rubber en schroef, heb ze moeten vastlijmen , sorry maar daar zal de prijs wel iets mee te maken hebben.

He de decir referente al cable de guitarra que con la reclamación de devolución han sido súper rápidos y han atendido de forma muy correcta haciéndome la devolución del importe e incluso no reclamando el producto ya que no es rentable su recogida así que atención al cliente postventa genial genial gracias

Ik heb het pedaal nu 2 maanden en ben er blij mee, het heeft even geduurd om er knap geluid uit te krijgen, maar dankzij YouTube kwam ik er achter dat de input volume te hoog stond en dat deze ook dezelfde waarde moet hebben in de software. Dus na wat teleurstelling nu blijheid. Ik gebruik het momenteel voor opnames, maar ik weet nog niet of ik hem op mijn pedalboard ga zetten.
