The MusicNomad MN602 Precision String Height Gauge is an indispensable tool for guitarists and bassists who take their craft seriously. Made for extremely accurate measuring, this guitar action gauge and fret rocker in one gives you the tool needed to measure the height of your strings and frets so you can tweak the setup of your instrument to perfection. The measurements are laser-engraved and indicated in millimetres, inches and 64ths and, to help you out even more, MusicNomad have printed instructions on the MN602 Precision String Height Gauge.

I've been using a cheap version of this tool for years, which I bought from Amazon for about £5, thinking "it does the same job" ... Heads up to anyone reading this, IT DOESN'T!!!
I bought this one because they claim it's easy to read due the clear writing on the black background, and I was struggling to see the measurement lines on the old steal one. I can now confirm that their claim is true.
What has also come to light is that the measurements on the cheap one were all over the show. This one is precision accurate. With this one, I set the heights by the gauge and it plays perfectly, no extra adjustments by feel required. Wish I had just spent the extra on this one in the first place and saved myself a lot of time and eye strain!!
