Easily attach a pickguard to an acoustic guitar? With StewMac's SM4597, it's a piece of cake. There is a protective layer on both sides of the foil with strong 3M adhesive. The foil is 0.05 millimetres thick and measures 152 millimetres by 203 millimetres. Attach a pickguard quickly and without making a mess. You remove the protective layer from one side of the foil and stick the foil to the back of the pickguard. Then you cut away the excess protective layer and remove the protective layer on the other side. Now you can attach the pickguard to the guitar.
