General

The handpan isn't an instrument that lends itself to digitalisation, or so you'd think. Lumen went ahead and did it anyway, and with success. This electronic handpan not only features various tunings, a headphone jack, USB-MIDI and more, but can be integrated into a DAW set-up. Played just like a regular handpan, the Lumen Handpan is equipped with nine touch-sensitive pads with polyphonic aftertouch for maximum expressive potential.

Digital Instrument Perks

This digital handpan comes loaded with five sample packs of professionally recorded instruments, putting it on par with the audio quality of an acoustic handpan. The Lumen Handpan even has a built-in, 360-degree speaker so you can just slot it into the included backpack and take it to jam sessions. Thanks to the stereo line output, you can hook it up to an external speaker system as well. The internal rechargeable battery lasts up to 8 hours on a full charge.

Wrote the following about Lumen Handpan Deep Ocean Blue Electronic Handpan

Ik heb de tweede batch een paar jaar gelden gekocht bij de producer maar dat klote ding heeft nooit goed gewerkt.
Ze zijn zeer laks met reageren en hebben me nooit een oplossing geboden.
Al met al zwaar teleurstellend instrument, niet alleen vanwege de erg slchte service maar het instrument op zich is erg lomp en de twee weken dat ik er op heb kunnen spelen ontdekte ik dat ik het, als ik het in een winkel had gezien, het zeker niet had gekocht.
De service en nazorg is echt heeeel slecht, ze hebben lange tijd productie problemen gehad en mij nooit een oplossing geboden !!!!
