General

The handpan isn't an instrument that lends itself to digitalisation, or so you'd think. Lumen went ahead and did it anyway, and with success. This electronic handpan not only features various tunings, a headphone jack, USB-MIDI and more, but can be integrated into a DAW set-up. Played just like a regular handpan, the Lumen Handpan is equipped with nine touch-sensitive pads with polyphonic aftertouch for maximum expressive potential.

Digital Instrument Perks

This digital handpan comes loaded with five sample packs of professionally recorded instruments, putting it on par with the audio quality of an acoustic handpan. The Lumen Handpan even has a built-in, 360-degree speaker so you can just slot it into the included backpack and take it to jam sessions. Thanks to the stereo line output, you can hook it up to an external speaker system as well. The internal rechargeable battery lasts up to 8 hours on a full charge.
