If you're looking for a no-fuss headphone amplifier to match your basic headphones, but at the same time, you still want the high-quality sound of the Phonitor X, this basic E-type might be just what you're looking for! The stunning red Phonitor E features professional fidelity and all the basic features you need. The speaker angle is already set at the popular 30 degree angle, and to keep things manageable, the crossfeed and matrix only have two different settings.

Phonitor E: sound reproduction and optional conversion

This SPL preamplifier offers connections for both unbalanced and balanced headphones. The advanced built-in dual power preamp tightens the bass response and, together with the optimised Phonitor Matrix, ensures balanced audio reproduction. Use the standard XLR or 4-pin XLR, or equip the Phonitor X with a DA converter. This will add an optical digital stereo, coax and USB to the available inputs.

Pro-Fi Series

SPL's Professional Fidelity (or Pro-Fi) series is rooted in professional studio technology, and optimised to produce high-quality and accurate audio reproduction. The Pro-Fi series is based on the renowned SPL 120V technology used by mastering studios all around the world to give your records and CD's that final touch.

Musikmesse 2016: SPL Presents New Director, PQ and Phonitor Models

SPL has plenty to show off this year at the Frankfurt Musikmesse. In the Pro-Fi series, the famous brand introduces the next steps in combining studio technology and high-fidelity. They're introducing the Phonitor X and Phonitor e headphone amplifiers, as well as the new Director preamp and DA converter. What's more, they've also got the new PQ Mastering Equalizer for mastering studio technicians.
