The Shure EAADPT-KIT features three adapters for the well-known 1/8" connectors used for headphones and in-ears. The 1/4" adapter helps connect 1/8" connectors to 1/4" outputs, which is great for headphones or in-ears that did not come with such an adapter in the box. This allows you to connect your headphones to virtually any sound system.

There's also an attenuator that you insert between your headphone cable and the output of an audio device. This has a wheel that allows you to control how much it reduces the volume level - which is great on airplanes, where even the lowest volume settings can sometimes be much too loud. The final adapter is an international airline adapter that connects your 1/8" headphone jack to the dual-pronged connectors often found on airplanes.
